Ta Da!! The platter became a great little place for notes and menus. The round thing-a-mi-jiggy is an old crock and I'm not really sure how I'm going to use it yet. I don't like to have things on the counter much but I'm thinking of using to plant some wonderful parsley. I'll post another pic as soon as I figure out it's future....
Head on over to Chrissie's and see what the other painters have done. OH! And I have another cute little thing involving those flowers but you'll have to wait another week.....it's still in creation mode (but close!).

I'm going to steal your idea.
I have been trying to decide how to makeover my old sponge painted yellow and blue kitchen utensil crock. Have also been looking for more things to spray with the chalkboard paint. Duh.
It's storming and I cant go garage sales.
Geuss what Im going to do today?
